The shop; A Precious Petals Florist:  The first year of business was 1991. After two years, the location was moved about two blocks north to where it stands today. The exterior is a beautiful brick building and has a nice green canopy overhead with FLORIST written in yellow. The front door welcomes you six days a week, unless of course you are shopping on line, then we are open 24/7! When you get to know a new business, or reacquaint yourself with the business you’ve been shopping at for years, it’s important to know who you’re working with, so let’s get started....

Owner; Rebecca Berge: Hi! Welcome to our on-line store. Thank  you stopping by. I became the owner of A Precious Petals Florist in 2008, and am the third owner since it was originally started in 1991. My love of flowers is what brought me to where I am today. I was born and raised in Minot, ND, studied Horticulture at North Dakota State University and am a member of the Minnesota State Florist Association. As the owner, I have a multitude of tasks, but my favorite thing to do is assist you! Please stop in or give a call, it would be my pleasure to introduce you to our beautiful selection of fresh flowers and more!

Floral Designer; Steve Weber: 19 years of experience at A Precious Petals Florist. Born and raised in Minnesota. Steve is committed to making your experience a positive one and he offers service that is friendly and prompt. You will know doubt be impressed by his contemporary custom designs!

Floral Designer; Sandy Flaherty: 20 years of floral design experience, also born and raised right here in Minnesota. Sandy has an eye for design. She will take the time to make your design one of a kind!

We have access to beautiful flowers and plants from around the world, as well as an exquisite selection grown right here in Minnesota.  If you are looking to live colorfully and buy locally, you have found the florist you have been looking for.

Our shop is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

We are closed on Sundays.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

A local delivery fee of $9.95 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)

U.S. orders must be received before 2:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
